Root Management Partners with Tender Care to Provide Free Rabies Vaccines for the Community

On Saturday, September 27, Root Management teamed up with Tender Care Veterinary Clinic to host a free rabies vaccine event at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds. The goal was simple: to make essential pet care more accessible and give back to the community we’re proud to serve.

Thanks to the incredible response from local pet owners, many rabies vaccines were claimed during the three-hour event. Vaccines were administered by Tender Care’s caring and professional staff, Dr. Katy and Dr. Cathy Harris, and members of the Root Management and Tender Care teams volunteered on-site to help things run smoothly.

“Our hope with events like this is to find ways to better serve our community,” said Nicole Read, Operations Manager at Root Management. “Partnering with Tender Care allowed us to make a real impact for local families and their pets.”

The event brought together pet owners from across the region and underscored the importance of preventive care for pets. Rabies vaccinations play a vital role in protecting both animals and people, and Root Management was honored to help facilitate that service at no cost to attendees.

We’d like to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to Dr. Katy and Dr. Cathy Harris and the entire Tender Care staff for donating their time and expertise, as well as to everyone who came out to participate.

Root Management looks forward to continuing to find meaningful ways to support the communities we serve.
