Root Management hosted a “Pastries & Pajamas” morning for residents at Riverwalk Commons, turning an ordinary start to the day into something a little more memorable. With coffee brewing and donuts ready from Jack’s Donuts, residents were invited to come as they were… pajamas and all.
Pastries & Pajamas is part of a broader initiative made possible through collaboration with property ownership, where a monthly budget is dedicated to resident engagement. These moments are designed to bring our residents and staff together and encourage connection.
Supporting local businesses is also a key part of that effort. By partnering with places like Jack’s Donuts, Root is able to invest not only in its residents but also in the surrounding community.
While the setup was simple (coffee, donuts, and a relaxed atmosphere), events like Pastries & Pajamas reflect a larger philosophy: when residents feel connected to where they live, they’re more likely to stay, engage, and take pride in the unit they are renting.
At its core, it’s not about the pastries or the pajamas. It’s about creating a place people actually enjoy coming home to.
